On Lent and Springtime.

It seems like lately the world is full of uncertainty. Right now, things are ever-changing even more than normal. The enemy is running wild right now. In my little piece of the world, like many ends of the earth, we were experiencing the waves and trembling of Covid-19: Stores low on supplies. Schools closed. Birthdays Matter.

The difference a year makes. The difference, two, three… eight. Eight years make a lot of difference when you’re looking back. Today I celebrate the first day of Spring with a type of fondness that surpasses other seasonal beginnings. It is also four days to my 26thbirthday. Have you ever taken the time to be thankful to be alive? And I don’t just mean a passing thought either. I mean take the time to really be thankful. Have you ever stopped to just praise God for the life He’s given you? Have you stopped to thank and praise Him regardless of the… Continue reading Thankful for Springtime, Thankful for Life.

On healing and following the heart.

Healing. It seems like we always want to be better off. To be healthy. To be joyful. To have clarity. To have things easier. To feel whole. To have consistency. To be healed. So why do we consistently make choices and behave in ways that result in the opposite? This isn't about what's out of… Continue reading On healing and following the heart.
